九州新幹線の開業から早二カ月、このゴールデンウィークは初日から乗車率も150％と
混雑していたようです。
せっかくなので、新しくなった熊本駅の写真を少し……。
こちらが新幹線口。停車中の新幹線が外から見えるようになっています。
外に出るとすぐに水飲み場が。「蛇口をひねるとミネラルウォーター」の文字。
熊本市の水道は地下水100％！ 人口67万人の熊本市民は、常にミネラルウォーターを
飲んでいるのです。
さて、新商品のご案内です。
九州新幹線の名前にちなんだ、さくら・みずほ・つばめという３つの味がお目見えしました！
●「さくら」は、その名のとおり桜色の、かわいらしいいきなり団子。
桜色に色付けした生地に、塩漬けの桜の花びらをのせています。
九州新幹線「さくら」をイメージしました。
●「みずほ」は、稲穂の色のいきなり団子。
若い方だと特に「みずほ＝銀行」のようなイメージかもしれませんが、みずほは「瑞穂」と書き、
みずみずしい稲穂のことを言います。
この「みずほ」は熊本県産米粉を使用し、熊本の実りの秋が目に浮かぶような稲穂の色です。
九州新幹線「みずほ」をイメージしました。
●「つばめ」は、ちょっと珍しい真っ黒ないきなり団子。
これは、黒ごまの色なんです。
生地に黒ごまを配合し、餡は白あん。
鮮やかに対照的な色合いは、九州で冬を過ごすつばめのようです。

この３つの味は、熊本駅限定！
在来線口の長寿庵フレスタ店か、新幹線口の旬彩館でお買い求めいただけます。
新幹線の絵の入った限定パッケージに、ひとつずつ入っています。
